These are two new Web 2.0 publishing tools. It is easy to post text, pictures and videos. Even businesses are exploring the use of blogs and wikis for a variety of purposes; from customer service and advertising to employee work spaces.
Now that you have experienced both blogs and wikis, describe some of their features. What websites do you use that are a type of blog or a wiki? If it were possible, how would you use a blog or wiki that you created in school? What subject area would you find it most useful? Why?

I like that on a wiki you can express yourself. You can upload pictures, videos and write about yourself. On a blog you can voice your opinion which I think is also cool, but I do like wikis better because you can show who you are and what you like to do.
I think that the Wiki is a good way to show who you are. I think that the Blog just expresses you thoghts. The Wiki is a good way to show what kind of person you are. You can add pictures and write anything that you would like to. I think that the blog is a good way to express what you are thinking but the Wiki is better then the blog.
I like Wikis much better. I've used Blogs a few times before, but Wikis are easier to use, and you can put and add many more things than on Blogs. You can comment on Blogs, although Blogs just have writing on them. Our Wikis have things like Vokis, animations, pics, etc. I prefer Wikis better.
i enjoy using wikkis much more. i think that it is much easier to customize your own page. i like how everything is accesiable from the tool bar. blogs are just to hard to add your own pictures to. in conclusion, i liked wikkis much more.
I think the Wikis give you more freedom and you can add a little more to a wiki, but i think that the blogs are easier to use and upload things. Overall i think that wikis are better because you can add whatever you want to.

i prefer wikis over just blogs. the reason why i think that wikis r better is because wikis alow u to create a personal homepage that includes ur own pictures, games, vides, and etc. Another aspect i like about the wiki is that u can also blog with other wiki users. which is just like a normal bloging website.
I think Wiki is a good way to keep in touch with friends and other people. I like Wiki because it is better than other Blogs. The reason i say this is because in other Blogs you can only write, but in Wiki, you find animatons,pics and other stuff. i have never used Wiki before, but i'm getting use to it.
I personally like Wikis better because they are pages that you make that are about yourself. I learned many things about other students by viewing their Wikis. Although you can comment on Blogs, the one thing I dont like about them is that they dont have any animations, pictures, and music files.

I t5hink that the wiki is better freedom wise. But i like a blog because it is alot simpler to use also i think that the wiki is confusing at times when you are uploading pictures and movies
