The Grade Eight Computer Elective focuses on graphics design and publishing. Our emphasis is on creating and transforming graphics, text and other components that appear on web pages and printed material. Students will create original graphic images with several different programs including computer-imaging software. Digital cameras, scanners, and the Internet are also used in the students’ projects.

The images in your slide show are beautiful! Did your students take them for their class? Publishing student work is an awesome way to authenticate and validate their efforts.

I think that computers are used by everyone in a daily bases. People use computers for everything such as homework, recipes for cooking, and just other information people would like to know. I use a computer everyday and I have never doubted them. (:

I think that computers are used by mostly everbody. I don't see a difference because I have always used and seen others use computers. The use of computers is imbeded in our dailey use. I can't name one person who doesn't use a computer ever. It is very cool how much time we spend on the computer for things through out the day.

I think that computers influence a persons life deeply because many people I know use computers every single day. Whether it is to listen to music, get information on a topic, or communicate with others. I use my computer every day and it helps me out a lot. I also think that now since most households have at least one computer, people use it more often and it's also thought to be a very useful invention.

I think that everyone uses a computer to do all of their work for their job, schoolwork, and just for their own personal things. Also everybody has things that are worked by computers so we would not have most of the things we already have if it were not for the computer.

I think that computers are used by mostly everbody, and evryday. I dont belive that there is any diffrence because others and i both use computers all the time. I am almost sure that everyone had used a computer in there life bfore. I am pretty amzed on how much time we use on computers all the time.
i love computers, they are just soo incredible, we have the knowledge all around the world in just a simple click... it awesome!
